The Evidence
This program has been created in response to Dr Bhopti’s research findings, that measured family quality of life of families living with childhood disability. The results indicate that further support is required for parents at the initial stage of diagnosis, and the impact this has on their –parental occupations and overall family quality of life can be positive if they are supported early. Evidence also shows us that parents need to look after their own health and well-being so that they can care for their child better.
